André Rieu Announces North America Concert Tour -- Violinist and conductor, André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra embark on 30th Anniv
New York, NY, (Billboard Publicity Wire/PRWeb) December 11, 2008 -- The North American Tour: In April of 2009, André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra will begin their North American Tour in Toronto. They will go on to play thirty-five cities across Canada and the United States, completing the tour in June. The tour will be dedicated to Rieu's 30th Anniversary on stage. Rieu will perform all the highlights of his 30 year career and the songs that his fans love most.

A violinist, conductor and showman, Rieu has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide. In April 2008, Rieu topped the Australian charts, surpassing the Australian Idol and Madonna for the #1 album. His recent Australian tour saw an audience of more than 260,000 over 11 concerts.
