PBS 'National Parks' Documentary Project Offers Rich Digital Education Resources to Enthrall and Inspire Students
PBS Teachers® and Classroom 2.0 host Oct. 7 webinar on integrating technology into instruction through free online tools and new educational media resources from Ken Burns's highly acclaimed documentary series, "The National Parks: America's Best Idea." These new digital media resources for educators, including on-demand video, lessons plans, digital storytelling modules, and student activities, are now accessible through PBS Teachers (pbsteachers.org), the Web portal to PBS' preK-12 educational services and a searchable library of more than 9,000 local and national standards-based instructional materials.

This fan drive includes options that allow the supporter to purchase a package that will include a limited edition album including bonus tracks, signed by the band's founders, and puts them in drawings for free tickets to concerts, merchandise, autographed posters, to name a few. Fans are also asked to name the album, choose the album artwork, and to participate in many aspects of releasing the Latin Giants Orchestra new album.
