In the summer of 2003, PBS Global Inc. opened in part to provide Melbourne, Fla. area businesses with consultation in business ventures, mergers and acquisitions. Originally it was intended to be a small business venture as an offshoot of one of the owners existing consulting firms. While the fee varies depending on the required services and documentation, it is designed to save the client time and energy, by allowing automation to screen buyers and if the client chooses, to have those buyers forwarded to specific brokers specializing in their industry. PBS has continually evolved over their history, pioneering technology to bring brokers, lending sources, advertising mediums and buyer qualification under the umbrella of one unified system serviced by their company and affiliate partners.

PBS Global contracts with third parties to independently establish the value of a clients business, as well as provide various other documentation needs in support of a buyer?s due diligence process. It then allows access to buyers seeking an acquisition based on desired asking price, location and industry.

One of PBS Global?s key strengths is that it ensures the confidentiality of the process, which protects the seller from premature backlash. The only people who will know a business is for sale are the pre-qualified buyers who are interested in the type, location and price range of the business.
